Playa Survival Beach

Aguadilla

By: Ivan Gonzalez | March 10, 2021

Survival Beach is a picturesque location situated in Aguadilla, near Surfer’s Beach. The beach boasts a unique combination of white sands and rocky formations that make it a must-see destination. However, it’s important to note that this beach is relatively secluded and does not have any facilities like showers, dressing rooms, or lifeguards. Visitors will need to park their cars at Surfer’s Beach and then take a short hike of about 15-20 minutes along the coast through dense vegetation and rocky terrain to reach Survival Beach. The hike can be challenging but is also enjoyable, so it’s recommended to wear appropriate footwear.

Despite the lack of amenities, Survival Beach is still a great place to visit for its natural beauty, particularly the striking rock formations and soft white sands. Though it’s not ideal for swimming, particularly for those who are not strong swimmers or surfers, visitors can still wear a swimsuit in case they want to take a dip in the ocean. So make sure to bring your camera or phone to capture the beautiful scenery forever.

It’s a remote and nature-centric location that requires some effort to reach, but the reward is the chance to explore a spectacular and untouched landscape that is not commonly found in a beach setting.
